We offer sliding scale pricing for community acupuncture to make care more accessible to our community. You choose the rate that best aligns with your current financial capacity: • Lower tier → for those needing financial flexibility • Standard tier → for those able to pay the typical rate • Supporter tier → for those who can contribute more and help sustain access for others No proof is required. We trust you to choose what feels right.

What should I wear to an acupuncture session?

We recommend wearing loose, comfortable clothing that allows easy access to your lower legs, arms, and neck. You have the option to remain fully clothed during your session.

How long are acupuncture sessions?

Session length depends on the type of visit: • New patient visits are typically around 75 minutes • Follow up sessions are usually 60 minutes • Community acupuncture sessions include about 30 minutes of rest time after needles are placed Your practitioner will guide you based on your needs.

How many sessions will I need?

This depends on your goals and what you’re seeking support for. Some people feel relief after just one session, while others benefit from a series of treatments over time. For fertility, pregnancy, or chronic concerns, we often recommend consistent care.

Can I bring my baby or child with me?

We understand that childcare isn’t always available. Babies are welcome in many of our offerings, especially postpartum. For acupuncture sessions, we recommend coming solo if possible so you can fully relax.

Is acupuncture covered by insurance?

At this time, acupuncture at The Womb Room is a self pay service. We are happy to provide receipts (superbills) that you may submit for potential reimbursement through your insurance or HSA/FSA account.
