Lauren Marks, LCSW-C

Mental Health Therapist

"I am here to support you on your journey of parenthood, or wherever you may be in that process. My goal is to help you recognize and use the strength and expertise that exists within you."

Lauren Marks is a mental health therapist specializing in infant and maternal mental health. She supports mother's vibrancy through active listening, to navigate difficult and uncomfortable feelings, while always focusing on strengths.

Lauren believes that attachment is the basis for all strong and loving relationships. She believes that learning to process past trauma, focusing on positive communication skills, and learning new ways of thinking can help you become who you strive to be, for yourself and your loved ones.

She believes that mothers are the foundation of strong, vibrant families and communities and that they should be supported and uplifted in a compassionate and non-judgmental way.

Through a mixture of mindfulness-based techniques, psychodynamic therapy, and parent/child attachment interventions she is trained for, Lauren helps individuals to make sense of their past and to take ownership of their future.
