This 5-part series reframes perimenopause, offering tools to navigate the experience with more ease. Perimenopause can bring confusion and frustration, but it also invites you to deeply nurture yourself. It’s an opportunity to explore what no longer serves you and what you want in the next phase of life. These sessions are designed to shift your awareness, empowering you to move through the transition with confidence and end it on a fulfilling path. You’ll create a personalized toolkit for managing your symptoms naturally, while gaining insight into their root causes. Dates/Times: Sun 1/26, 12–3 pm Sun 2/23, 12–3 pm Sun 3/30, 12–3 pm Sun 4/13, 12–3 pm Sun 5/18, 12–3 pm Price: $275 for the full course or $60 per drop-in session Location: Sessions 1-4 are in-studio, but the 5th session will be outdoors for hiking at a location TBD by Theresa Part 1: Perimenopause Session one will cover what happens during perimenopause, how to recognize your personal experience, and include tongue and pulse diagnosis, journaling, and qi gong. Part 2: Sleep, Think, and Feel Session two will discuss how perimenopause affects sleep, cognition, and emotions, and provide herbal, supplement, and practice recommendations for balance. The session will also include journaling, meditation, and qi gong. Part 3: Eat, Drink, and Metabolize Session three will focus on foods that support your constitution, nutrients for overall health, and changes in weight, digestion, and metabolism. It will include teas, journaling, and yoga. Part 4: Sex and Cycle Session four will address changes in body temperature, menstruation, and intimacy. We’ll discuss herbs and supplements that suit your needs, and include journaling, qi gong, meditation, and acupuncture. Part 5: Exercise, Look, and Feel Good The final session, held off-location, will include hiking and time in nature. We’ll discuss exercise for bone density and muscle mass, inflammation and pain management, and graceful aging. The session will end with a closing circle. Theresa Lummino, M.Ac., L.Ac. Theresa is a licensed acupuncturist and owner of Eastern Wellness. She holds a Master’s degree in Acupuncture from Maryland University of Integrative Health (2013) and certifications in yoga, Thai massage, and Ayurveda. With over 15 years of experience, she combines these practices to address a range of health conditions and has been studying holistic wellness for over 20 years.
