Class Description:

Fun and playful group music classes that include singing, movement, storytelling, and free play with props and instruments! For ages newborn - 6 years. Music for Littles is all about building community and fostering creativity through music. Classes support young children in regulating emotions, working together, increasing fine and gross motor movements, navigating the world around them, and more. Parents and caregivers will walk away from the classes feeling more confident and knowledgable in how to use music at home to have fun, bond with their child, and help their child's developmental journey. "My intention is to use music to connect, lift each other up, and create playful and joyful experiences for families." - Miss Anne. Music for Littles is a 30-minute music class, followed by 30-minute free play and consultation time. *When booking, choose your series start date! Each series is 4 weeks in a row, at the same time. Options for series start dates: - Sept 6th (all 4 Fridays in Sept, at 3:30pm) - Sept 9th (4 Mondays in Sept, at 10:30am) -Oct 4th (all 4 Fridays in October, at 4:30pm) -Oct 7th (4 Mondays in October, at 10:30am) -Nov 1st (4 Fridays in November, at 4:30pm) -Nov 4th (all 4 Mondays in November, at 10:30am) -Dec 6th (3 Fridays in December, at 4:30pm) -Dec 2nd (3 Mondays in December, at 10am) Drop in for $30/class OR book your start date and attend all 4 sessions in your weekly series! Be sure to dress comfortably :) ------- Anne is a singer, songwriter, musician, and teaching artist based in Baltimore, MD. She has taught for over eight years in a variety of settings and recently received a Masters in Music Education with a focus on Early Childhood Development. Anne strongly believes in providing authentic musical opportunities for all children and caregivers; taking into account their lived and cultural experiences to develop an sustainable, exploration based, playful, and culturally relevant approach to music education.
