Shante Ferguson

Birth Doula, Breastfeeding Specialist

"My mission in life is to love and support people in any way I can with the knowledge that I have through my education and experience in life. I do this work because it makes my heart smile."

I specialize in caring/loving for others by tapping into my intuitions and listening to my heart. The approach that I really listen to my heart, how I feel, and let my soul guide me with each family that I assist. So far that has had great results.

I'm motivated by love and the power that it has. When it's time for the families and I to part, they feel very special and loved. Every family has said that I made the mom feel like she was the most important person in the room.

I am a mother of 5 sons, who each inspire me to be great. I have been a pediatric medical assistant for the past 13 years. After watching the birth of my granddaughter 4 years ago I have been obsessed with the birthing world.

I live in Baltimore Maryland with my husband and youngest son. I really enjoy meditation, taking in all that nature has to offer, and my plants.
