About Jessica
Postpartum Doula
Jessica is a compassionate and nurturing doula dedicated to supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum journey.
She has been practicing as a Postpartum Doula for nearly three years and became a trained Birth Doula in March of this year. Since beginning her work, she has supported over two dozen families and two birthing parents, with a special focus on overnight care. Her overnight support helps parents get the restorative rest they need while she gently guides them in establishing healthy routines, bonding with their newborn, and finding a natural rhythm with feeding and nurturing.
Jessica received all of her training and certifications through DONA International, and she loves teaching childbirth education, newborn care, and providing foundational lactation support. She believes informed families feel more grounded, capable, and connected as they welcome a new baby.
Before becoming a doula, Jessica spent more than a decade as a 911 Police Dispatcher, a role that strengthened her ability to remain calm and focused during even the most stressful situations. As a mother of four and bonus mom to two stepdaughters, caring for others has always been at the heart of her life, making her path to doula work a natural fit.
Her approach is calm, intuitive, and centered on empowering parents to trust themselves and create the birth and postpartum experience that feels right for their family. Whether offering comfort measures during labor, guidance in the early weeks, or essential overnight support, Jessica is honored to walk beside families during such a transformative time.
She is currently working toward her full birth certification and looks forward to supporting families throughout their prenatal, birth, and postpartum journey. Jessica’s goal is simple: to ensure every family feels seen, supported, and never alone on their path to parenthood.
