The Grandparent Class

Class Description:

So you're becoming a Grandma/Grandpa? Congratulations! Check out this NEW class offered by the Womb Room Education team, and get the best tips on how to master your new role. Learn what has changed since you had little ones, how to best support your children as they become parents, plus all the need-to-know tips regarding feeding, play, milestones, and keeping your grandkids healthy and safe in a modern world. Walk away with an understanding of: - current birth practices - postpartum support for the new family - understanding your newborn grandchild - changes in baby care - health and safety (including babyproofing) - safe sleep practices - safe car seat guidelines - feeding baby - play and milestones - your support role (positive grandparenting, healthy boundaries and communication) This class will facilitate conversations around expectations, and the crucial, supportive role of becoming a grandparent. *One registration includes one set of grandparents-to-be, AND the expectant couple (optional). *One registration is included for Holistic Package Holders. Additional registrations must be purchased separately. This class is best taken in the few months prior to the birth of the baby, and pairs well with our Infant/Child CPR class. 2024 Dates: 5/5, 6/8, 7/8
