At The Womb Room, we strive to be a compassionate and knowledgeable partner in your lactation & feeding journey.

The miracle of human milk is in its highly-nutritious, protective, and developmentally-supportive properties.

Such properties enhance brain development, digestion, and immune system functioning, that benefit your baby throughout their entire life.

That being said, a family's mental health is of primary importance, which means sometimes formula-feeding or a combination of breast/chest/formula-feeding is the best option for everyone.

Return

to Work

A return-to-work lactation visit offers personalized support to help you navigate pumping, feeding, and transitioning back to your routine with confidence.

Hands-on guidance: Your consultant can gently adjust your baby’s position, help you discover the most comfortable and effective nursing holds, and demonstrate techniques in real time to support a smoother, more confident feeding experience.

Weight checks: We can gently weigh your baby before and after a feeding to measure exactly how much milk is taken in, offering reassurance about milk transfer and helping track your baby’s growth and nourishment over time.

Physical assessments: In-person visits allow us to assess tongue ties, oral anatomy, nipple trauma, or breast concerns that can’t be fully evaluated virtually, giving us a clearer understanding of what’s happening and how to best support your feeding journey.

Full assessment of feeding: We observe a complete nursing session to evaluate latch quality, milk transfer, and overall feeding dynamics, offering real-time feedback and guidance to help you and your baby feed more effectively and comfortably.
