About Karen Kelley
Postpartum Doula
As your Postpartum Doula, Karen Kelly can assist you with the practical, emotional, and informational support families need during the first 12 weeks with a new baby. That support will look different for each family, and what she does each day will change according to your specific needs. Her goal is always to promote parent/infant bonding, rest, and healing while creating balance and organization in the home.
Karen is proud to be a Certified Postpartum Doula through DONA International. Their mission, “a doula for everyone who wants one” is a guiding principle for her. Karen believes that every family deserves to be cared for during the fourth trimester, whether a traditional, non-traditional, or adoptive family.
"It is my privilege to help guide you through those first weeks at home with your new baby, and my joy to witness your journey."
Karen lives with her husband and elderly dog, Stella, in Ellicott City MD. She is a Mother to three wonderful young adult children. When she is not providing postpartum support you can find her working in her garden, reading, volunteering, or listening to a birth podcast!
