Why Take Yoga for Pelvic Floor Classes?

The pelvic floor stands as a central pillar of prenatal and postnatal health, yet its importance often remains underappreciated.

As you transition through pregnancy and into postpartum, the pelvic floor experiences profound shifts. Our Yoga for Pelvic Floor muscles workshops cater to both prenatal and postnatal stages, providing techniques and insights to navigate these changes.

Delve into an immersive yoga experience that focuses specifically on the pelvic floor, designed to arm you with the knowledge and tools for holistic pelvic well-being, reliving pelvic pain, and increased peace throughout all areas of your life.

"By learning to find stillness through movement, my classes provide a safe place to be yourself and find your sayta - or truth."

I have been practicing yoga since 2010. I became a doula in 2019 where I have attended numerous births at St. Joseph's Medical Center, Johns Hopkins Hospital, and Franklin Square Medical Center, among other local hospitals.

I teach Pelvic Floor Yoga Workshops at The Womb Room with an emphasis on learning to listen to what your body needs in each pose, and focusing on an easy, steady breath."

Yoga Instructor & Birth Doula

Late night kitchen dance parties, sweaty runs, the sweet flow of breath centered yoga; it’s only after such activities that I can pause and really hear what my heart has to say. When I sit and rediscover that steady beating, I breathe into the space in front of my spine, behind my ribcage, connecting to whatever feels nourishing for the moment.
