"Late night kitchen dance parties, sweaty runs, the sweet flow of breath centered yoga; it’s only after such activities that I can pause and really hear what my heart has to say. When I sit and rediscover that steady beating, I breathe into the space in front of my spine, behind my ribcage, connecting to whatever feels nourishing for the moment.

I have been practicing yoga since 2010. I became a doula in 2019 where I have attended numerous births at St. Joseph's Medical Center, Johns Hopkins Hospital, and Franklin Square Medical Center, among other local hospitals.

 

I teach with an emphasis on learning to listen to what your body needs in each pose and focusing on an easy, steady breath. You can find me Saturday mornings at The Womb Room teaching Prenatal Yoga or Baby and Me Yoga, infused with all the poetry, affirming mantras, and movement your heart can handle."

  • 200 hr - RYT in Interdisciplinary Yoga

  • 85 hr - RPYT Prenatal Yoga instructor

  • 50 hr - Trauma Informed Yoga from Body Wise Foundation

  • 20 hr - Certification in Yin Yoga from Jessie Kates

Prenatal Yoga

 

Connect with a fabulous community of moms-to-be for community, support, movement and meditation. Prenatal Yoga focuses on enhancing comfort, building strength & endurance, relieving stress, easing aching hips and back, and building skills for labor, birth and parenting. More importantly, each session includes a check-in for community building and mutual support. Appropriate for all stages of pregnancy.

Baby + Me Yoga

 

Practicing yoga WITH your baby is a wonderful way to heal from pregnancy, bond mindfully and build and essential mom-tribe. This class is relaxed and informal, including activities with and without your baby (in case they are sleeping!) with plenty of time & space allowed for feeding, diapering and meeting baby’s needs. Appropriate for babies 3-weeks-old to crawling.

Family Yoga

 

Get your family out of the house, to engage together for a fun memorable experience. Enjoy interactive game-based yoga activities to get a good stretch and to plant the seeds of mindfulness and healthy living for our littlest yogis!
