About Berlin
Birth Doula
Berlin is a birth doula, lactation counselor, and longtime yoga teacher whose work is rooted in care, somatics, and deep respect for the transformative journey into parenthood. She completed her Birth Doula and Lactation Counselor training through Childbirth International and has pursued additional education in birth assistance, holistic breastfeeding support, and Spinning Babies techniques. With more than a decade of experience teaching yoga and meditation, she weaves breathwork, mindful movement, and body awareness into the support she offers prenatally, during labor, and in the postpartum period.
Across her diverse professional background in kitchens, farms, restaurants, event coordination, mental health settings, and movement spaces, Berlin has always gravitated toward hands-on, people centered work. These experiences inform the compassionate, grounded, intuitive care she provides to families. She loves connecting clients with education and resources and she is passionate about helping people feel informed, heard, held, and deeply connected to their own wisdom. When desired, she incorporates yoga into her sessions and she especially enjoys nourishing clients with home cooked meals.
Originally from Upstate New York, Berlin now lives in Ellicott City with her family. She loves writing, being in the woods, experimenting with new recipes, practicing French, and traveling. She dreams of hiking the Appalachian Trail one day, publishing a book of essays and poems, and building a business of her own. Her work and personal ambitions are always rooted in creativity, community, and care.
