About Connie Sanabria
Yoga Instructor
Connie Sanabria is a passionate and emerging yoga instructor with a fresh perspective and deep enthusiasm for sharing the practice. She began her journey in 2021 by completing a Yoga Alliance registered 200-hour teacher training through Awakening Yoga Academy, where she learned the foundations of functional movement, body alignment, and the importance of honoring each individual body.
Connie first began teaching yoga at Baltimore City College High School during the virtual learning year and continued in person the following year. At the time, she was also a full-time educator and saw firsthand how students were seeking ways to destress and incorporate movement into their daily lives. After transitioning out of the classroom and into motherhood, her curiosity about her changing body led her to complete an 85-hour Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training with Lily Dwyer Begg in 2023.
Today, Connie specializes in prenatal yoga, baby and me yoga, and toddler yoga. She is especially excited about teaching toddler yoga, where she finds joy in watching children interpret poses in creative and playful ways.
A mother to a young daughter, Connie finds magic in everyday adventures, whether walking through city parks, drawing together, playing music, or traveling. A lifelong lover of exploration, she previously led student trips to France and holds a special place in her heart for Italy.
In her classes, Connie incorporates pranayama as a powerful tool to energize, calm, or find flow. She believes breathwork is a simple yet profound way to help people feel both empowered and at ease in their practice. Connie is a free spirit at heart, deeply fulfilled by creating, connecting, and chasing moments of wonder with her daughter.
