About Jenny
Postpartum Doula
Jenny’s journey into doula work began long before she held a formal title. For over 10 years, she supported friends, coworkers, and neighbors through pregnancy and postpartum—dropping off nourishing meals, texting to check in, visiting to listen, and always showing up with care and intuition. What came naturally to her soon became a calling.
Now with two years of professional birth doula experience and 15–20 births attended, Jenny primarily focuses on postpartum support, where she thrives—especially during overnight shifts. She steps in during the evening to offer guidance and hands-on support, allowing parents to rest while she cares for their newborn and quietly tidies and organizes their space. Each morning, she leaves behind a detailed Google Doc outlining the baby’s night, along with thoughtful, individualized notes (like the most effective burping position or calming techniques).
Jenny is also an active board member of Rooted Willow Community, serving as the Volunteer Circle Coordinator and extending her care to the broader community. She treasures the opportunity to support families across the full spectrum—from prenatal visits to labor and birth, and into the postpartum months.
Her passion lies in creating deep, trusting relationships with families and being a steady presence through every stage of their journey. While others focus on the baby, Jenny keeps her attention on the birthing parent and their partner—ensuring they are seen, supported, and never alone.
