About Allie
Certified Birth Doula
Allie has been supporting families as a Birth Doula since 2022, bringing a grounded, compassionate, and advocacy-centered approach to her work. She specializes in client advocacy and attentive, heart-centered care, meeting each birthing person with deep respect for their unique philosophy, needs, and preferences. Allie is especially passionate about supporting the body’s natural ability to birth, incorporating holistic approaches to encourage labor progression and reduce fear and tension.
Before stepping into birth work, Allie spent over a decade in caregiving and advocacy roles, particularly supporting elders navigating hospital systems, memory loss, and end-of-life transitions. This experience shaped her ability to communicate clearly and assertively while maintaining a collaborative and compassionate relationship with medical providers, always centered on the wellbeing of her clients.
Allie brings a calm, steady presence into high intensity spaces. She incorporates tools like visualization, meditation, affirmation building, and intention setting to help clients feel grounded, safe, and empowered throughout their experience. Her work is rooted in reducing fear and creating space for confidence and trust in the process.
Her background in care work also includes leading empowerment-based group programs for women with disabilities, as well as one-on-one support with elders for over ten years. She is currently expanding her work toward end-of-life doula care, continuing her commitment to supporting people through life’s most profound transitions.
In addition to her work as a doula, Allie is a holistic coach, creative mentor, and singer-songwriter based in Baltimore. Since 2015, she has supported clients through introspective and spiritual coaching, helping individuals reconnect with themselves, access their creativity, and move through life with greater clarity and authenticity. Her work is rooted in the belief that when we cultivate self-awareness and compassion, we are better able to show up with love in all areas of our lives.
Allie holds a BA in Global Justice Studies from James Madison University, where she deepened her understanding of systemic inequities and the importance of care-centered, community-driven support. This foundation continues to inform her work, guiding her commitment to autonomy, dignity, and equitable care for all.
All of Allie’s experiences weave together to create a deeply intuitive, empathetic, and steady presence. She feels honored to support families during such a transformative time and is grateful to be part of The Womb Room community.
