About Jessica
Postpartum Doula
Jessica is a compassionate, steady-presence doula at The Womb Room, bringing nearly three years of experience supporting families through the postpartum season and into birth. Trained and certified through DONA International, Jessica is a Postpartum Doula and a trained Birth Doula, with experience supporting over two dozen families and multiple birthing parents.
Jessica specializes in overnight postpartum care, offering families the invaluable gift of rest during those early weeks. Her overnight support focuses on helping parents establish gentle routines, build confidence, and bond with their newborn so that feeding and nurturing can unfold more naturally and with less stress. She is especially passionate about newborn care education, childbirth education, and foundational lactation support, ensuring families feel informed and empowered as they adjust to life with a new baby.
Before stepping into birth work, Jessica spent over a decade as a 911 police dispatcher. In that high-pressure role, she developed an exceptional ability to remain calm, grounded, and clear-headed in even the most intense situations — a skill set that deeply informs her doula work today. As a mother of four, and a bonus mom to two stepdaughters, caring for others has always been central to her life and felt like a natural path into this work.
Jessica’s approach is calm, intuitive, and deeply nurturing. She offers emotional, physical, and informational support throughout labor, birth, and the postpartum period, helping families feel seen, supported, and never alone. Whether she is providing hands-on comfort during birth, guiding parents through infant care, or offering reassurance during the quiet hours of the night, Jessica considers it an honor to support families during such a transformative time.
