About Megan W.
Full Spectrum Doula & Sleep Consultant
Megan brings over 20 years of global public health experience in Maternal and Child Health to her work supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and the early years. Since beginning her doula practice in September 2023, she has supported many families through both birth and the transformative fourth trimester, offering flexible daytime, overnight, and on-call birth support. Megan’s approach centers emotional and mental well-being, infant sleep shaping, and ensuring that partners and all caregiving parents feel confident, informed, and supported in their roles.
As a birth and postpartum doula and pediatric sleep coach, Megan tailors practical, emotional, and informational support to each family’s unique needs—from preparing for birth, to navigating the early weeks at home, to building healthy, sustainable sleep foundations for children up to six years of age. Whether she is supporting clients in labor, helping facilitate parent–infant bonding, promoting rest and recovery, or bringing more calm and organization to the home, her goal is always to nurture confidence and steadiness during this profound transition.
As a trained and certified Full Spectrum Doula through Doula Trainings International, Megan supports people through the full reproductive journey, including infertility, conception, pregnancy, birth, postpartum, miscarriage, and loss. She is guided by the belief that everyone deserves access to respectful, compassionate, and inclusive care. Megan works with families of all structures and identities—traditional and non-traditional, LGBTQIA+, adoptive, and foster—and is deeply committed to meeting each family where they are.
Based in Baltimore, MD, Megan lives with her husband and her 12-year-old. When she’s not supporting families, you’ll find her exploring local hiking trails, immersed in a good book, or enjoying quality time with family and friends.
