Messaging Service Policy

Service Request Notification System

This document outlines our company's messaging system used to coordinate doula services with our professional staff.

Purpose of Messages
When potential clients submit service requests through our website, any doula that agreed to receive text alerts will receive a message notifying them about the submission, and they can reply Y or N indicating whether or not they can provide support to this client. These messages allow our doulas to quickly respond to client needs and indicate their availability for assignments.

Message Content and Process
The messaging system serves to:
• Alert doulas of new client service requests
• Share essential client information (such as due dates)
• Allow doulas to respond with their availability
• Facilitate efficient client-doula matching

New doulas complete an onboarding form that collects basic information, including their phone number. As part of this form, they may optionally check a box to indicate their interest in receiving automated SMS notifications.

Subscribers can opt out at any time by replying STOP, which will immediately remove them from the messaging list. A confirmation of their opt-out will be sent upon receipt of the STOP request.
Wh

Professional Communication
As part of their professional duties, our employed doulas receive these service request notifications and can respond with a simple Y/N to indicate their availability. This streamlined communication system is an integral part of our service coordination process and is covered under our employment agreements.

Privacy and Data Protection
All client information shared through these notifications is treated as confidential and subject to our professional privacy standards. Employee phone numbers and contact information are used solely for service coordination purposes.
