About Kiara
Postpartum Doula
Kiara has been a practicing doula since 2019 and has had the honor of supporting more than 60 births. Her journey has taken her across borders, spending four years in Europe nurturing families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Alongside her doula work, she is a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher with a specialty in postnatal yoga, weaving mindful movement, breathwork, and holistic wellness into her care.
With a background in both birthwork and yoga, Kiara holds space for families in a grounded, intuitive, and heart-centered way. She offers holistic birth and postpartum support that blends evidence-based care with soulful, intuitive guidance. Her services include prenatal preparation, labor and birth support, postpartum healing, and postnatal yoga designed to restore balance in both body and spirit.
Kiara specializes in mindful movement, breathwork, and nervous system regulation—helping families feel deeply supported, informed, and empowered through every phase of their journey. Clients often describe leaving their time with her feeling more grounded, connected to their intuition, and confident in their innate wisdom as parents and birthing people.
A mother of three, wife, and holistic practitioner, Kiara has called the DMV area home for over a decade. Originally from North Carolina, her path has always been rooted in nurturing and community care. Living and working abroad in Europe deepened her appreciation for the universal rhythms of birth and the power of gentle, intentional support. When she’s not holding space for families, she enjoys reading, practicing yoga, homeschooling her children, and spending quiet time in nature.
Kiara’s work is inspired by her belief that birth and motherhood are sacred initiations—and it is her calling to help others move through them with grace, grounding, and wholeness.
